I bought this for my 2 year old after her Sony died after roughly 6 months. The price was right in my eyes, as I didn't expect anything to last long with her wanting to carry it everywhere. After 2 months, I'm happy to say, it's a great little player.
PROS:
1) Battery life is great...have gotten 4 hours of play time on a charge.
2) Plays all her dvds very well.
3) Sound is good. Doesn't sound tinny like other inexpensive players.
4) Inexpensive.
5) Durable. My little one brings it everywhere. It's been dropped more than a few times, and still works perfectly.
CONS:
1) No "lock" feature. So, if your little one is like mine and wants to rewind to a part 100 times, they are more than able to.
2) Buttons can be a little confusing.

Overall, the positives WAY outweigh the negatives. Great little player. I'm very satisfied with it.
